Meet the Team
-
Allex Dyson
Allex, or the girl who can play almost anywhere, is another of the youngsters that chose to play 10U a season early. She has shown her versatility on defense by play right and left field and third and second base. One of the fastest players on the team, she uses this as an asset defensively, but is most apparent in her baserunning.
-
Ava Grace Lamb
Better known as AG, Ava Grace started with the team their first season of 8U; an original she definitely is. She has played numerous positions throughout her tenure, but has now settled into sporting the tools of ignorance behind the plate. If she’s not behind the plate, she might be found at third or in the outfield. She has even played shortstop.
-
Brynlee Milburn
Brynlee is the “baby of the bunch”, but she holds her own and has from the beginning with PeachState Power 8U. She patrols the right side of the field most times defensively, playing right field and first base.
-
Claire Bradham
Claire joined the team in the spring of 2023 and quickly became a solid member of the team. Originally joining as a catcher, she has grown into the catching position. Along the way she has shown excellent defensive abilities, playing third, left and right field, and shortstop.
-
Emma Kelley
Entering her 4th year with PeachState, Emma has been with the team from the beginning. Emma began pitching lessons two years ago and has become a steady presence in the circle for the team. When she isn’t pitching, she holds down the hot corner, third base. Emma also played 1st during 8U and 10U.
-
Janna Brooks
Another of the originals, Janna was a standout second baseman throughout 8U. Over the last two years she has continued at 2nd, while also playing 1st and 3rd. The reason for the switch is she now splits her time between the infield and the mound, where she is also a steady presence for the Peaches.
-
Peyton Lewis
Peyton decided she would wait a season before joining PeachState in the Spring of 2022. Since then, she has been a big contributor to the success of the Peaches. Over the last two seasons, Peyton has held down left field for PSP, always looking for an opportunity to show off her arm, which she has occasionally done at third base.
-
Sadie Jones
Another original, Sadie has become, perhaps the Peaches most consistent outfielder, as she roams centerfield. Sadie began in the infield, playing both first and third base. The move to the outfield has been a total success, where she is a natural. Not only does she make outs catching fly balls, but don’t run on anything she is backing up because she will be there and make the throw for the out.
-
Kinley Swint
Kinley has also been with PSP since the beginning in 2021. During 8U, she played pitcher. Despite still being able to play 8U, Kinley made the move to 10U with the older girls and has done well. With the position of second base being open, she jumped in and claimed it. She has grown into a consistent infielder and one of the team’s best baserunners.
-
Layla Usry
Layla begins her 4th year with PeachState and has been a mainstay of the Peaches since their inception. Layla began her time with the Peaches in the outfield and locked down the centerfield position quickly during 8U and was a staple there until making the move to first last fall. Offensively she is perhaps the team’s most consistent hitter.
-
Sadie Power
Sadie begins her first season with PeachState Power. She attends Briarwood Academy and will be in the 4th grade. She has played on their Jr. Pro team the last two years. This past season Sadie did a lot of catching for the Lady Bucs. PSP is excited about the addition of Sadie to our team.
